Letting People Know Portrait Day Is Coming

To prepare for Portrait Day, we request you to share the materials we provide with parents and help spread awareness about the event. Kindly remind parents to have their children dressed up on the day of portraits.

A week before portrait day, we will be getting in touch with you to confirm the details and provide answers to any questions you may have. This is the first step in our process and we want to ensure that everything is accurate and clear so that you can have a successful portrait day.

When Portrait Day Arrives

Southern Smiles Portraits will arrive early on the day of the event to set up their equipment. They bring all the necessary equipment for the shoot and do not require any assistance from the facility.

This includes cameras, lenses, a backdrop, lights, props, chairs, combs, hand sanitizer, and disinfecting wipes. This ensures a seamless photoshoot without any last-minute hiccups. They prioritize safety and sanitation and have all the appropriate precautions in place to ensure the health and well-being of everyone involved in the event.

Preview Time

After the photoshoot, in around a week's time, parents can expect to receive a selection of poses and smiles featuring their child or children. If siblings attend the same daycare or preschool, the photographer will also capture a group shot of them together, as well as individual photos. This ensures that parents have a variety of options to choose from when selecting their favorite image.

The parents can now view the pictures through an online gallery or physical proofs sent by the photographer. They have the opportunity to choose their preferred pictures and place their orders.

The Final Product

After the order processing and packaging stages, the final step in the process is delivery. Within the next 2-3 weeks, parents can expect their requested products to be delivered to their children's preschool or daycare. This will allow for convenient pick up of the items without the hassle of shipping them to individual homes. With the orders successfully fulfilled, parents can rest assured that their children will have the necessary supplies for their educational and developmental needs.

Upon obtaining consent from the school directors, we can offer a convenient delivery option for photo orders. For a nominal fee, we can send the ordered photos directly to the family's residential address. Additionally, we provide the option for digital downloads of purchased images, allowing parents to access them instantly after making payment.
